1 Goal = 20,000 Seat Cushions

Congratulations to Toronto FC for scoring their first-ever goal in Major League Soccer! To celebrate, 20,000 fans at BMO Field proudly threw their seat cushions onto the pitch, causing a small delay. Since then, the Chicago Fire have gotten an equaliser from Chris Rolfe and the score stands 1-1 at the half. Game is live on Fox Soccer Channel - have a look at the festive atmosphere for yourself.

Update: Danny Dichio and Diego Gutierrez have both been sent off after a skirmish near the Chicago goal that also invovled 'keeper Matt Pickens. Replays showed that Dichio may have been trying to bite opposing players during the scrum... seriously. The two teams' coaches got in a heated discussion about the incident... it should be a fun second half.
