Yallop Says Galaxy Won't Loan Becks

Keeping up our recent trend of at least one David Beckham story per day...

Los Angeles Galaxy head coach Frank Yallop says David Beckham will not be going out on loan to any club in the MLS off-season, despite reports that several EPL teams are interested in the idea. According to Soccer365.com, Everton, Tottenham, Blackburn and Newcastle have all expressed interest in bringing Beckham over for a few months this winter.

Yallop has firmly turned away the offer: "He won't be going on loan anywhere. He'll be taking a break at that point and getting ready for our pre-season. He's shown he's a world-class player, he doesn't need to go back and go on loan anywhere."

Besides resting and getting ready for the pre-season, the David Beckham-led Galaxy are scheduling a tour of atleast Asia and Australia to capitalize on their latest signing. Perhaps they schedule a few matches in England as well?
