According to AYL Soccer, Real Salt Lake is expected to announce the appointment of Robin Fraser to the position of Assistant Coach as early as this week. Fraser was the fourth overall draft pick in the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft, playing in the league from 1996-2005 and is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in league history.

Robin Fraser was the best defender in MLS history. His passion and knowledge for the game will give Real Salt Lake great hope and opportunities for their upcoming games. Real Salt Lake players should be greatful that they are getting such an amazing coach and shouldn't take anything for granted. CONGRATULATIONS ROBIN!!
Robin is by far the most passionate and intelligent person when it comes to soccer. It's no doubt that he was the best defender in MLS history. Real Salt Lake should be privilaged to be in the prescence of him. Congratulations Robin and make us proud!!
